An Infinite Monkey Attempts To Write the Complete Works of Shakespeare
★★★☆☆ Shakespearean smorgasbord
Earnest, jovial, and witty, An Infinite Monkey Attempts to Write the Complete Works of Shakespeare: A Variety Show, at Greenside on George Street, is not quite what it says on the tin.
Last Orders
★★★★☆ Absurdist queer comedy
Buds and bros get complicated at the Bedlam Theatre in Last Orders, one of Edinburgh University Theatre Company’s selected shows this year.
The History Boys
★★★★☆ Intelligent
Energy, fine acting and a great deal of thought characterise The History Boys at the Bedlam, where it runs through to Saturday.
Endgame
★★★★☆ Beautifully judged
The EUTC’s production of Endgame, at the Bedlam for three nights, is an exemplary production on almost every level. The direction and all of the performances are very fine indeed.
Under Milk Wood
★★★★☆ Accomplished
EUTC’s staging of Under Milk Wood, at the Bedlam until Saturday, is a beautifully realised and engaging piece of theatre.
