A Lad in… Cramond
★★☆☆☆ Fun
Cramond Drama Group return to Cramond Kirk Hall for two nights only with A Lad in… Cramond a fun, all-new(ish) family pantomime with a proper Cramond twist.
Nightmare
★★★☆☆ Oddly enjoyable:
A frankly implausible plot, that breaks several of the cardinal rules of crime fiction, is largely overcome by the committed performances in Saughtonhall Drama Group’s Nightmare.
A Fistful of Mondays
★★★★☆ Yee-ha!
Low-key but satisfying, Saughtonhall Drama Group’s A Fistful of Mondays which has a limited run to Saturday is attractively humorous.
Cocoa and Cuddles
★★☆☆☆ Curiously disconnected:
Saughtonhall Drama Club opens its 70th anniversary year with Cocoa and Cuddles by Jane Lockyer Willis, a strange and worryingly disconnected piece of theatre.
Ladies’ Day
★★★★☆ Good each-way bet
Saughtonhall Drama Club’s Ladies’ Day has warm humour, the odd spiky line and a finely put together production.
