Review – Quiz Show
★★★★★ Top-of-the-range:
A gaudy, glitzy, tinselled television studio set is the believable backdrop to Rob Drummond’s audacious participatory theatre – the first full production of the Traverse’s fiftieth anniversary season. Full of flashing lights, disco music and gizmos, this is the home of popular quiz show: False!.
Review – Cinderella
Darkly comic, Johnny McKnight’s new musical version of Cinderella for the Royal Lyceum which updates the tale to contemporary Paris, is “slick and funny” according to Æ guest reviewer Irene Brown.
Æ Review – Spring Awakening
★★★★☆ Brutal:
Grid Iron Theatre Company have joined forces with the Traverse theatre to create a brief, brutal and quite devastating new working of Frank Wedekind’s Spring Awakening.
