Carrie: The Musical

Carrie: The Musical from the Edinburgh University Footlights at Paradise in Augustines is a gory and emotional adaptation of Stephen King’s novel, with music by Michael Gore and lyrics by Dean Pitchford.
Kiss Me, Kate
★★★★☆ Chef’s kiss
Kiss Me, Kate, from the Edinburgh University Footlights, is a strikingly ambitious production. Not every element succeeds equally, but some aspects are excellent, and all of it entertains.
9 to 5 the Musical
★★★☆☆ Ambitious
From the crisp chords of the live band to the acres of powder-blue eye-makeup, there is no faulting the effort put into EU Footlights’ ambitious production of Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 the Musical at the Pleasance all week.
